Release notes

• QoL improvements, 9/23/25
  • Did some formatting cleanup for better visuals (although... still very plain)
  • Figured out what the source code was trying to do to in compiling Collections of posts, tags, etc., and a 'draft' label, and removed my bad and unnecessary bandaids trying to accomplish the same goals
  • Added support for footnotes, RSS feed (I think), favicon
  • Pulled in and wrote a new forward to a post from my Ghost blog -- it turns out there's a nice script someone wrote in 2014 that makes it all very easy
  • Added support for published-on vs edited-on dates for blog posts in service of above
• New content, 9/18/25
  • Learned more than I expected about serving images in the responsive-design era because the hard-coded img tags I was trying to use were being processed "for my convenience" by Eleventy
  • Wrote a blog about Prop 50, California's proposed redistricting
  • Added some past-work writeups to the Projects page
• Initial release, 8/29/25
  • Wrote some stuff for the site
  • Asked an AI to look it over and oh man was it incomplete
  • Started editing to remove all the extraneous junk that got thrown in
  • Connected local directory to Github repo

  • Dig up old posts on CA HSR and Adobe/Figma
